Put in an “out” clause. No matter how great the deal looks, put in an “out” clause so that both parties may terminate the partnership relatively easily. This may seem counter intuitive, but if companies know that they can get out of something, they'll work harder to make it successful. AnotherSocialEconomy: Brokering Consumer Demand with local Retailers' available Supply - via simple messages, for f(r)ee, or, Reverse Retailing.
it's like they looked for a local retailer in the Yellow Pages (business directory) & called all of the listings at once.
As a Consumer, I know exactly what I want, whereabouts I want to purchase it and would like to be notified (anonymously) by local retailers who have it in stock, so I don't have to spend more time & energy trying to find something like a "Nintendo Wii Console".
